Hyperammonemia, a rare disease, is a metabolic disturbance characterized by an excess of ammonia in the blood. It is a dangerous condition that may lead to brain injury and death. Working with Recordati Rare Diseases, a biopharmaceutical company focused on orphan therapies within the rare disease communities, our creative team at The Experience Design studio created the Check Ammonia campaign in order to bring awareness to Hyperammonemia. The comprehensive campaign included the checkammonia.com website, print and banner ads. The website, built on WordPress CMS, contains key facts, education, resources such as FAQs, and a Metabolic Geneticist finder.
