The MedicAlert Foundation, established in 1956, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency medical information services through personalized medical IDs. Over time, their website had become outdated, both in design and functionality, making it less effective in conveying their mission and engaging users.
XDS collaborated with MedicAlert to overhaul their website, focusing on enhancing user experience, modernizing the design, and improving search engine performance.

The project encompassed the following key steps:
Comprehensive Content Audit:
Conducted an in-depth analysis of existing content and streamline over 1,000 pages down to approximately 200, ensuring relevance and clarity.
User-Centric Design:
Developed a clean, modern design that reflects MedicAlert’s commitment to safety and reliability, ensuring mobile responsiveness for a seamless experience across all devices while improving navigation to help users easily access information about medical IDs, membership benefits, and emergency services.
Technical Optimization:
Migrated the website to a hybrid platform using WordPress for content management and Salesforce Commerce Cloud for e-commerce functionalities, implemented SEO best practices to enhance search engine rankings by optimizing meta tags, headings, and image alt texts, and integrated analytics tools to continuously monitor user behavior and site performance.
