For Arcus Biosciences we set out to reimagine and rearchitect their intranet, creating a modern platform for a growing company.
To create a best-in-class and secure WordPress intranet for Arcus, we started with creating a beautifully functioning interface paired with a forward-looking tech stack. Our intranet services included using WPO365 for Microsoft account login integration with data sync via Microsoft Azure and utilized the BuddyPress plugin for social media-like features including extended user profiles, @mentions, activity notifications, and the ability to comment/like/share. We used WordPress native functionality to create a full intranet experience, including the ability to upload photos, create posts, create and add events to a calendar (using The Events Calendar service), and upload/search for files; all enabled for users on the front end using the WP User Frontend plugin.
Redesigning Arcus Bio’s Clinical Trials Platform
When Arcus Bio approached XDS to revamp their clinical trials portal (trials.arcusbio.com), our mission was clear: streamline access to critical information for patients, caregivers, and researchers while integrating enhanced functionality.

We implemented a seamless integration with ClinicalTrials.gov, ensuring Arcus Bio’s platform remains up-to-date with the latest trial data. This real-time sync eliminates manual updates, improves accuracy, and accelerates access to critical trial details.
Patient Screener Tool
Understanding patient needs is at the core of our redesign. The patient screener enables users to quickly determine trial eligibility, removing guesswork and simplifying the process of finding suitable options. The intuitive interface is built with user experience at its heart, ensuring accessibility for all.
Modernized Design
We revamped the site’s interface to be clean, responsive, and intuitive. Users can effortlessly navigate through trials, filter results, and access essential information on any device.
By combining real-time data integration with user-friendly design, the new trials.arcusbio.com empowers patients and researchers alike to make faster, more informed decisions. It’s more than a website—it’s a tool for accelerating progress.
