Peernetwork.com is a support website for people affected by the rare condition pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), created by UNITED THERAPEUTICS. Pulmonary arterial hypertension is a type of high blood pressure that affects the arteries in the lungs and the heart. It is a very serious condition that can change the patient's day-to-day life. Being diagnosed with this condition can feel very isolating, especially due to the lack of awareness.

The goal of the PEER Network is to connect patients and caregivers who have experience with PAH therapies to those who are considering or beginning treatment. The main component of this program is the website that features advice, tips, and inspiration from people who have gone through the PAH experience themselves. The site also allows people to connect directly with a PAH mentor to help answer questions and guide them through their diagnoses. Launched in 2018, the website was built on top of the Drupal Content Management System, with Salesforce serving as its CRM for secure data capture and record management.
